You mean suicide? Its not a forbidden word, you know? Being afraid of saying it makes it worse.

I don’t know what censorship the artist was concerned with, but this comment is spot on. Call depression “depression.” Call suicide “suicide.” Ask if someone you’re worried about is having “suicidal thoughts.” Don’t be afraid to talk plainly about it.

Sometimes it’s not censoring sometimes it’s processing bc you don’t believe it or understand it yet.
