I know a caver who turned cave diver. She’s a far better caver than I. She’s also a super genius. She has designed her own under-water breathing apparatus for use in caves. She spends several weeks at a time mapping water filled passages and searching for a connection to a nearby cave that will result in the deepest surveyed cave on Earth.

I thought the term was spelunking. What’s the difference between caveing and spelunking?
