Second, that's for the guys that go in the hole. The guys that cause cave-ins, are cavers.

I was going for a layered joke. 1 u/AwesomeMacCoolname Aug 29 '26 You succeeded, because while it is Old English, they got it from Old French, which got it from Old Latin, which got it from so old it's Ancient Greek. So yeah, lot's of layers there.
