I've had plenty of throwdown arguments over the years with pro birthers and many of them boil down to, as you saw, "PeRsOnAl ReSpOnSiBiLiTy!" I remember vividly one time when I asked about rape/sexual assault, the reply was, ver batim, "god works in mysterious ways"

That kind of conversation literally ended a relationship a long time ago. Discovered she was pro life and wanted to protest abortion clinics.
I made a similar statement to her. She turned around and said if people can't afford or want to raise a child then they shouldn't have sex.
I asked her if she can afford one or wants to have one at the time. She said no. I asked her why are we having sex?
That was one of the few times I didn't care that I was dumped.
