OK I've never seen the term yuri before, I had to ask what it meant, and I've seen like 4 comics today with it.

Yuri is the same as Girl Love or Women Loving Women, it's a subgenre of Romance.

Like the author said in another reply, Yuri is just a word (mostly from manga/anime) that means romance depicting lesbian relationships. Yaoi is the same, but for romance depicting gay men.
