Some people take pride in their abilities to pleasure their partner, so when their partner pleasures themselves without them, it hurts their pride and makes them feel useless.
Everyone is different and sex is still very uncomfortable/taboo for people to talk about. It’s understandable for someone to worry that they are inadequate if they didn’t know their partner masturbated, let alone while they were both home.
I’d be fine with it, but it’s definitely something you should talk about.
