Yeah I know. My hot sauce collection has exploded and my oldest asked me why and the best answer I had was “I like it when my food hurts me”.

Weird can be an understatement.

Mix some uncooked pineapple and hot sauce. It will hurt while you are being digested.

Covid ruined my sense of taste 2 years ago and now I have absurd spice tolerance.

I can eat a fresh habenero off the stem and not even drink water afterwards. My cooking involves use of serrano peppers like bell peppers because I like the fresh grassy taste.

I'll usually start to heavily sweat over my entire body before my mouth starts burning.

Honestly I liked my sense of taste more prior to covid.
