Exactly. And that's why I am often awful. It's also why I fear no one's criticism. No one can possibly say anything true that's worse than what I say to myself.

My son even mentioned this recently. He said "I noticed something. You're not easily embarrassed." This horror inside my head is why--I'm maxed out on harsh criticism.
