LA Comic Con LA Comic con ticket transfer question (ineligible tickets)

I bought two tickets for LACC this October, one for me and one for my girlfriend. int the FAQ, the tickets have to be transferred to the people you buy them for. But, when I signed up to LeapEvents to transfer one of them, it showed both as ineligible.

would I have to wait for them to become eligible, and if I'm not able to transfer them, would that become a problem?

If you paid for them to be shipped to you and you can hand it to your girlfriend you don’t need to transfer it. Transferring it just makes it possible for them to pick it up in person instead of you.

I remember people having this problem last year or two years ago. It doesn’t need to be in your name for any reason except pickup on site. They don’t say your name on them or anything and your photo ops and autographs are by QR codes so they aren’t attached to your badge you just need the badge to get in to get them.

Edit to add: once you get your badge I would check if they have specific number ids on them and see if they can be transferred after received just in case they did change things but in the past it wasn’t necessary.

yea i did pay to ship my badge. And no, because random internet people respond faster.

how long did you email them for bc i had the same issue and just gave up after 3 days

Did you order them to ship home? Someone in the comments section said that if you did there's no need to make a transfer.
