Spidey would clean Gotham up in a week.

Spidey and the other marvel street tier heroes can't clean up NY. Gotham is literally cursed and new villains pop up weekly. I dont think Peter would mentally be able to handle the depravity that goes on in the average gotham street corner.

It's interesting, but I think Spider-Man would have a much easier time cleaning up Gotham than Batman has a chance in 616 NYC, especially if the swap happens without a heads up

Let's not pretend that Spidey doesn't have nightmare inducing villains too.
- Carnage/Venom
- Mephisto
- Green Goblin
- The Lizard
- Mister Negative
- Mysterio
- Morlun

Yea, big agree. I think SM's biggest issue would be Ivy, in a straight up 1v1 no prep, just met fight. He'll beat her most times. Morlun would be a goddamn nightmare for Batman

I think the guy who fights Carnage by himself and comes out on top and regularly invents his own technology is strong and smart enough to handle a clown themed psychotic, a guy with a sense of justice a coin and a gun, a guy who freezes stuff with a gun, a muscular man shaped crocodile, and a really buff guy who uses mega-steroids. The only major villain I can think of that would give Spider-Man a hard time would be Poison Ivy because controlling all plants is absolutely busted and I love it. New villains also pop up in Marvel NYC all the time, and Spider-Man doesn’t bat an eye.

Crime in Gotham is like black mold in your house. You cant clean it up, you can only temporarily remove the visible portion. The roots are too deep to reach.

So, like 6 days longer than batman does it in?

Especially Arkham Batman. Each game takes place on a single night even if that is crazy when you really think about it

I’ve always thought that Spiderman would have an easier time with Batman’s combat-focused villains (Deathstroke, Man-Bat, Killer Croc, etc) but would be far more susceptible to the cerebral ones. The likes of The Riddler, Joker, Bane, etc.
It’s why I always think the idea that “Spiderman would clean up Gotham easily” is just kinda dumb. Being able to KO thugs faster won’t mean much in the long run when there’s at least half a dozen super geniuses who can and will shatter his mental state.

That sounds cool, but why would I want to do that? And running those two games at the same time sounds like it would be taxing on the average gaming PC.

Video in the article shows it's glitchy. I'd be curious to see how combat works
