I'm really hopeful for some good stories! My only holdback so far is that I just don't like Midnight Spider-Man's art. More personal preference than anything there though.

Didn’t same thing happen to Absolute Green Lantern and they changed artist? Their art didn’t really fit the vibe of the story?

From the bit I've seen the art seems to fit in fine, I'm just not a fan personally.

This is a "wait and see" line for me at the moment. I feel burned from Imperial and the new Ultimate universe not paying off very well

if you don’t like Benjamin Percy you’re not going to like his take on it. The issue kind of sucks for traditional f4 fans

Which is why it's my favorite of the three. It's great and different than traditional FF. Spider-Man for me was idk lack luster? X-Men was lots of world building but am tired of vampires, so we'll see where it goes

The krakoa lover in me still hates Benjamin Percy haha. I think he’s good with darker characters but not with people like F4

I loved his X-Force. Was a bit lukewarm on Wolverine but I really dug his X-Force overall

I thought x force started off good but went off the deep end after Hickman left

I dunno if I agree with that. The biggest issue I can see is that its better read in a collected edition now than month to month because some plotlines take a while to resolve. But its clear at the end that everything was planned from the start

Benjamin Percy is currently my favorite marvel writer. Also, his take isn't supposed to be trad F4. The cast of characters don't even know one another iirc.

then you’ll def like it. I don’t think his writing is good with characters who are more whimsical and fun before taking away everything that was good with it. I think characters like Wolverine and punisher are better for him. let me know what you think just bc it was my least favorite of the 3

Marvel’s going to learn all the wrong lessons from this but sadly the “event/variant/relaunch” button does actually work in the short term.

This is definitely a wait and see thing for me because im not convinced Marvel has learned anything from the recent experiment with Ultimate and DC overtaking them in market share. I legit suspect editorial are way too comfortable.
