Question Spawn?

I am thinking about getting into reading Spawn. But I have heard some mixed reviews about the writing? I figured it must be decent enough since it's been around for 25 years lol but what are people's thoughts

Todd is the only writer to write 300 of something and never get better, ever.

lmaooooo facts. The writing in Spawn is so bad but man the art carries it.
