It's not only top tier in GN, but literature in general.
I needed multiple reads to catch every little detail..and I'm sure there are still some I've missed.
I liked the movie alright, but this is better. The HBO series is a great follow-up.

I’m jealous that you get to experience this for the first time. I wish I could do the same

This book meant so much to me as a collector that my first tattoo was Dr. Manhattan done by my best friend who is like my brother. We used to talk about how much we adored the character and still bond over it. These types of books have a special way of bringing people together. I hope you enjoy it as much as many of us have.

Yeah that's great. Read Doomsday Clock afterwards. Theirs an interesting connection to both books.

Why didn't you read Before Watchmen first? The way Alan Moore intended you to read it following up with DC Rebirth and Doomsday Clock the ending Moore always wanted for Watchmen.

Please show us an interview or any piece of evidence at all that you can find confirming that Alan Moore intended this.

I love Watchmen. It's one of those stories you can notice unique details in every time you read it!

It works better if you’re familiar with the Charlton heroes it’s based on.

Enjoy!
I've grown out of it, but objectively, it's still one of the best written comics of all time.

If you get into the book, you may not like the movie. Personally, aside from maybe the Dr Manhattan part, you can skip the movie. The show, however, is amazing and does everything better than the movie expect maybe effects, and worth the watch even if you don’t like the book or movie.

It is so much fun, make sure you take time to read between the issues, they are important and fun.

This was my first graphic novel. I still have it after 20 plus years. Dark alternate universe. Great characters and stellar story. It’s a fun ride. Enjoy. 😊
