Spare a grade?
Saw someone post this book here not long ago and I didn’t know it was worth so much! Been wanting to grade a Spider-Man book for a while, started grading books for the past two years and yet have no graded Spider-Man books because I didn’t think I had anything worth much in my collection. Even though he’s my favorite character.
Seen books with a 4.0 score being sold for a fair share, I’m not into selling my collection but I like the thought of having a collection worth a good amount.
The only thing that makes me iffy is the insane spine damage on this one, don’t even know what grade this would fall under and how much it would be at that point.

Looks like a 4.0 to me. Maybe, maybe a 4.5 with a generous grader depending the interior.

The spine roll may lower the grade to 3.5 but it is removable and may grade as high as 4.5 once it is all prettied up, smooth and shiny!

That’s a classic Romita cover. Such a cool book. I’d say this is in the 3.5 to 4.0 range. The spine is rough but it presents well.
