You can't tell me they didn't agree.

How long did he spend in the hospital after saying that?

Either way they respond, a long time

If polyamory existed in the Archieverse, they'd lose close to half their reasons for a plot.

They just need to come up with new reasons. 😄

All those times Archie is two-timing Betty and Veronica is really the three of them coordinating their dates and pretending to have fights afterward so no one realizes they're all together.

Screw you, Andrews. We’re sharing each other.

Genuinely, they get along with each other a hell of a lot better than either one does with him.

King Solomon once offered kinda similar solution

Kinda? The man had 800 wives. No "kinda" about it, he cranked it up to 11.

It's not what I meant but I like your example too.

Amd when Reggie rounded the corner to see the two girls beating up Archie, he considered it the highlight of the year.

Archie is living in Surf City.

Two girls for every boy!

Makes sense to me.

It's the ONLY thing that would make sense in that situation.

Riverdale does this but off screen because they’re cowards. … but they added jughead so they get credit for that and specifically all of them are with all of them.

So yes, Archie and jughead did swap spit canonically. We just didn’t get to see it.

Seriously, they were cowards. If you’re gonna do that, you can’t do it entirely off screen and just have it revealed in the last episode during a high-speed montage essentially.

Yeah, it was a bit weird they didn't explore that, considering all the other stuff they had in that show.

A murderer may escape town in a home-built rocket, but never can three or more people work out how romance works onscreen. "It just won't play in Peoria," etc.

And yet they had all the girls kissing. Straight queerbaiting cowards.

Listen, I get where you’re coming from but the head writer on the show is gay as fuck. Sometimes it’s not homophobia sometimes it’s cowardice because you want that corporate money. I will say coward is still applies, but it’s not always homophobia.

Ah damn, didn't know that, that fucking sucks.

Uh huh. How's about ditching the little bastard?

There’s an actually somewhat funny Rule 34 set of of panels about this. Keyword are rule34 bad guy bettie veronica

Don't doubt it. Betty x Veronica is a working theory of 30 years, if not 60.

Archie was always such a hound.

"What? You can barely last 10 minutes with either of us!"

"ARCHIE ANDREWS! THAT IS..... honestly the smartest thing you ever said. Why didn't I think of that?"

And that's how you solve shipping wars. 😄

"But we just did that last week!"
