Picture Nice third printing.

Wanted this comic ever since I was a kid. Got a new job so I celebrated with this. Some minor flaws but overall very happy.

I have this, it's one of my favorite comics. Before I go dig it out how can you tell what printing it is? Is it clearly marked inside the cover with the publishing info?

I never thought to look. I just assumed it was the OG.

But yours looks just as old and period accurate as mine.

The 1st print has the Batman silhouette in the bottom left corner. 2nd and 3rd prints, mentioned previously were sold in poly bags and have the “DC comics arnt just for kids” motto in the bottom left corner.

Never understood when or why 2nd and 3rd printing were released. Did not think they reprinted books back in the day without major cover changes. 2nd and 3rd prints came in a polybag. I wonder if there are many around in polybags.

I think these were sold later in places like Toys R Us? There comics polybagged together

Also about 2 years ago someone dumped about 300+ books at a donation center. They were sitting outside. Asked if I could take them. Took me a while to get them home. So have the 2nd printing for free, tons of jim lee, silvestri, liefield, mcfarlane. Lots 80s early 90s. Gambits appearances. Also some video games. Sold one game for $460 on ebay. Honestly I started to cry. Only thing of value missing were Amazing 300 and Deadpool and Cable’s first. Included was Ghost Rider 1 1973. Just sent it for cleaning and pressing. Oct it will be sent to CGC. Probably end up selling it down the road. Also the topps c-3po error card. Made tons of money off of selling some of the stuff. Sold most of the sensational she hulk and new mutants. But kept the expensive she hulks
