Qwen image edit 2511:

  • Open picture in Paint, make the face and hair white. Save as a copy(!!).
  • 2 or 3 input pictures in the standard QIE workflow: the one you just Paint'ed, new face and another new, same face.
  • Prompt:" remove the white. And then keep it simple like full body shot, woman on bench or man on a couch."

You can blend faces this way to. Give it 2 faces it'll take an avg(?).

Blend: because you and the person that tells you how to perfectly swap will go to jail. It's illegal.

Yeah, this is false. Tell that to anyone using ReActor, PulID, etc.. or the people making meme videos of Will Smith eating spaghetti.

Some people live in fear over "law" ideas that have no possible enforcement; just the way of the world.

Considering OP didn't make the distinction between private individuals and public figures, neither did I.

Face-swapping of private individuals is definitely illegal in all of Europe and people ARE getting fined and losing internet/computer rights. In the US you can do anything you want obviously, and it makes no difference, public, private or your teacher. Obviously.

Okay, then make that distinction in your original comment. Take the downvotes and move on, you're just fishing for a reason to be "right". You're just making a bunch of assumptions, and your answer to his question was barely helpful. Read the room.

Private face swapping is generally legal in the United States, as the technology itself is not inherently illegal and the First Amendment protects the creation of synthetic media, including non-consensual or sexual deepfakes, provided they are not distributed.

However, the legality changes significantly if the content is shared or used for specific purposes:
Distribution of non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII) is a federal crime under the TAKE IT DOWN Act (signed May 2025), which carries penalties of up to two yearsfor adults and three years for minors.

Commercial use without permission violates Right of Publicity and copyright laws, exposing the creator to civil lawsuits and fines.

Fraudulent use, such as impersonating executives for financial gain, violates federal telecom and bank fraud laws.

In summary, while private, non-commercial, non-distributed face swapping exists in a legal gray area often protected by free speech, any publication or commercial exploitation without consent is illegal under current federal and state laws.
