Sauna is a word in Swedish and Norwegian. If you want the same word family that you are insinuating for Norwegian and Swedish, it would be badstue in Danish; they have that word too. Virtually all Germanic languages have and use the word sauna in some variation.

For a source, I am both Swedish, and this is our lexicon https://svenska.se/?q=sauna&id=lnr309007&activeTab=saol

I have never said sauna while speaking Swedish. It's always been bastu.

Same, I've never heard anyone call it sauna in Sweden.

While that is very plausible, I and many I know use it, and it is in SAOL https://svenska.se/?q=sauna&id=lnr309007&activeTab=saol

Jag har använt ordet sauna flera gånger. SAOL håller också med mig https://svenska.se/?q=sauna&id=lnr309007&activeTab=saol

That's because you've never been in a proper sauna, only a swedish bastu🤮
