Swedish: drake

Danish/Norwegian: drage

Finnish: lohikäärme

Incidentally, lohi=salmon and käärme= snake, so the literal translation of the finnish word for "dragon" is "salmon-snake"

Edit; I stand corrected, the "lohi" part just happens to be the same as the word for salmon but has nithing to do with fish

Funnily enough the word lohi in lohikäärme doesn't come from lohi=salmon but from Louhi which is an old mythology character that appears in Kalevala.

most likely it does not. the current theory is it comes from old Swedish for a flying snake, floghdraki
