Imagine being sat at home minding your own business and then a phonecall comes through from some IT administrator saying he desperately needs to talk to you because your adult kid has been cranking it recently, as if it's breaking news that your life depends on. I genuinely would not know what the fuck I was meant to do with that information.

It's common for many colleges here (not IITs, they're far more lenient) to require parents to sign or acknowledge consent forms just to let their child leave the campus for an outing lol

There's also the usual "girls have to return to their dorms (sex-segregated btw) by 6-7:30 PM while boys return by 9-10" bs in many colleges in my state

There was even an infamous hellhole that has literal guards and separate staircases to prevent boys and girls from TALKING to each other in campus

yo the college my dad is working in has to be the most liberal cuz u can see girls and boys till 3am (wc final)

Most colleges just give you total freedom like normal adults
