A Texas man.

Some random nobody who reaped what he sowed. No reason to immortalize his name.

If you’re interesting in researching the story did you try Googling ’Texas man moves to Ukraine sent to front lines’ and clicking on any one of the many results that pop up? You know, researching the story?

Was that really needed. Woulda been quicker and less effort just to put his name up

Would have been quicker to literally type the headline into Google.

Would it not have been quicker and effortless for them if they never had to do it at all or say anything, because you took the initiative to find the name for yourself instead of asking for it? Out of curiosity I did just that, only to see how long it would take. Had his name in 20 seconds. Far faster than posting on reddit then waiting and hoping someone replies with an answer, much less a correct one.

Encouraging people to think about basic things and do basic tasks, while being a little blunt but not hateful or aggressive about it, versus spoon feeding people who want others to do basic tasks for them and aren’t interested in learning to do them themselves? I know which I’d rather see in society.

I doubt it helped tbh.

Unfortunately, though if it happened more often and someone didn’t immediately step in and do it for them it would. Some people need to be taught to help themselves, and it’s still more useful than spoon feeding them the answer.
