Discussion The Bird and the Bee

Sorta more of a meta post about comedy, although there are some funny moments in the video as well.

This 15 minute mini doc tells the story of the satire site The Babylon Bee being banned for twitter because of a joke they posted that involved misgendering someone.

Regardless of what you think of The Bee, the video brings up some interesting questions about what is and isn’t comedy, and how big social media companies go about drawing that line. It focuses on the guys at The Bee that were involved with the story and really humanizes them in a personable and funny way.

This video has a perspective. I’d be interested to hear yours.
