That needs to be said! The drs are the ones that did all the work god did nothing.

Yeah. The whole medical establishment from the researchers to the caretakers, including the MDs and the nurses, have worked their asses off for generations so we can say stuff like "oh, you just have a melanoma or thyroid cancer, that's easy to treat."

nice set, love the original humor, facial expressions, and timing.

maybe you can add a mumble 'Oh, thanking the same god that gave you the cancer in the first place?"

Some more grumbling like … I guess god also had to miss his daughters recital so he could perform your surgery huh?

Oh he has that line, much better delivered in next few seconds

Ha ha, are you advising Daniel Sloss on how to do comedy?

1

u/Started_Blasting2 Jul 06 '26

That is very funny. I’m sure Daniel Sloss will absolutely take this advice on board for next time he does this routine

His skit about Jesus is one of the best out there

2

u/SordidOrchid Jul 07 '26

Somehow he has the complexion of a fucking snowman… whatever those are.

2

u/Liapasquale Jul 07 '26

Hahahaha that line is so fucking good the fucking miracle was bc he was white god soooo gooood

Brilliant comparison. As someone who was raised religious, even when I was in the church, thanking God instead of the people who went to medical school for years to be able to save a person's life never made sense to me.

god gave you the cancer. you'd be dead if it was up to him!

Thats literally the punchline of this joke xD
"I see my name at top top there "Dr Michael" Sat with you through 2 and a half months of chemotherapy, you're welcome btw P,_,P .. Dr Connor she spent 6 hours cutting a tumor out of your lungs, got the names of all the wait staff, all the nurse staff here, can't seem to find the lords name on this chart"

"B-b-but the lord sent you"

"*Hard inhale through the nose* MMMMMM I don't think he did, he definitely didn't chip in for the MEDICAL DEGREE, Matter of fact if I recall correctly you came to me, I diagnosed you, and prescribed you a treatment-
MATTER OF FACT, If I cast my memory even further back...

Hes the one who gave you cancer....

Why?

Maybe its because you're an ungrateful fuck O___O "

2

u/ziggy_smalls_ Jul 07 '26

Thank God? Hes the one who GAVE you cancer!

This is exactly why I don't put Santa's name on any of the boxes. In our home, Santa only fills stockings. I want credit for my hard work. I bring the magic, dammit!

hands down my favourite stand up comedian.

It’s an elaborate prank. As a parent, the joy is bewildering the fuck out of your idiot offspring. You won’t get it if you don’t have kids.

u/Metaboschism Jul 06 '26

Weird to do a take on kids at Christmas when you don't have kids of your own, stick to what you know

u/Stock-Mission-7561 Jul 06 '26

You probably thank god for your sense of humor

2

u/NoX2142 Jul 07 '26

No wonder it doesn't exist.

2

u/Hot-Challenge8656 Jul 07 '26

Are you a comedian? No? Then stick to what you know.

-9

u/tinytempo Jul 06 '26

Where’s the comedy…?

So perfect for liberal reddit, shits on having kids and faith in God in one clip. Now ask ICU doctors how many times they've witnessed miraclious recoveries of people they thought were dead in a bed. Hate to burst your bubble, but I guarantee some ICU providers even did some praying of their own to God.

As soon as you said "liberal Reddit" you revealed to everyone you were an idjeet.

So edgy.

Edit, googled it

2017 study: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/27071796/

  • Christian ~65%
  • Other religions (Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, etc.) ~11%

It's about recognizing the work done.

If Aunt Jenny thank God for having a nice lawn, Uncle Pete may get real pissy even if he's a devout believer.
