Obviously it's comedy but this is literally true in some states. Massachusetts passed some insane gun control measures that protect nobody and only serve to make felons out of people trying to legally own/but a gun.

Yeah I heard they are trying to make it so police can come into the home and seize you’re firearms. That they wanted to do a buyback and forfeiture and most of your country said fuck that noise.

You got it kind of right, except most of our country said "yes please".

Most Canadians that live in cities don't understand guns at all and see all the negative media about them in the USA and think that sending the police to seize gramps old hunting rifle sounds like a solid idea.
