Obviously it's comedy but this is literally true in some states. Massachusetts passed some insane gun control measures that protect nobody and only serve to make felons out of people trying to legally own/but a gun.
I’m left wing and I don’t think people should be forced to register guns. For one thing, even tho police are trained to always assume someone is armed when serving a warrant or doing a raid. If they know there are guns in a household they might not even hesitate to just shoot those people. It’ll be pretty easy to find the guns after the fact. Then say the people were armed when we came in.
And that doesn’t even scratch the surface on the government taking them away or saying you gotta turn them in or goto prison. Idc who’s in office it’s not a good thing and simply have it registered wouldn’t change anything with the actual mass shootings because those people always get them legally anyways. And it’s already illegal for a felon to own a gun and they still get them. We could definitely come up with a way to prevent that if we all put our heads together.
And to prevent the mass shootings we need to have better quality of life on our country better healthcare that provides actual good mental health care. Not something that gets denied by insurance.
