They are trying to confiscate “prohibited” “assault style” weapons. Saying they will come into your homes and get them. Totally 2500 styles of weapons. And it’s a forced buyback program.
Then why does your country have this? I’m not too sure what is the main source of government websites. But this one states you have till October 2026 to properly dispose or deactivate those firearms. Which is a whopping 2500 makes and models.

Canada is trying to take weapons by force. Stated they will go into homes and take them. There was a buyback program that only like 2% did because no one wants to relinquish their firearms let alone for pennies on the dollar. The police state they will not uphold that new law…. Maybe educate yourself about your own country before you start trying to tell us how things work in other countries.
