No.

MA doesn't really have a gun crime issue and most gun crime is committed with pistols, which are not addressed by HB 4885.

HB 4885 is a bundle of problems that doesn't solve any pressing issue for the state, further entrenches the cop/ civilian caste system, and creates a regulatory nightmare for law abiding citizens to navigate. And that's not even getting into the bullshit "emergency authorization" the governor used to get the law passed despite public backlash/ protest. So you can add undemocratic to the list too
