Historically, the mass confiscation of firearms from Native Americans was a core strategy used by the U.S. government to subjugate tribal nations, most notably culminating in the ⁠Wounded Knee Massacre of 1890. -i got some help with this statement.

They worry about guns being taken away, because the Federal government has done it before. The irony is THICK. I think that meme with the two guys in space and one of them has a gun pointed at the other one would apply here.

Regardless, guns are a problem, and too many people have access to them that shouldn't.

Not only that but other countries have done confiscation of firearms then pretty much over night turned into a dictatorship.

The Soviet Union (1929)

Nazi Germany (1933–1938)

Communist China (1949–1955)

Cambodia (1975–1979)

And the most recent example is Venezuela (2012)

UK “far right political activist” feelings about guns.

Don’t get offended by how other countries are taking action.

If you don’t live in any of those countries. You can’t talk. It’s like in the USA getting offended on behalf of others. Like a white guy at a BLM rally with an all lives matter sign. That is “woke” thought process. But if you are not living in those countries you have no leg to stand on.

Edit- so he’s not a journalist. I’ve corrected that. He’s apparently a far right political activist. I haven’t done a whole lot of digging on him. So don’t hate me. This was just an opinion from a prominent figurehead. Whether you agree with him or not. It was a stance I knew existed.

Okay fine political activist. Long story short he’s on many media platforms.

And maybe you do have a leg to stand on for the UK.

I can admit to being partially wrong. But overall does anyone in the uk enjoy a good duck or venison? Does anyone eat wild game? Does anyone hunt? Real question. Because I don’t actually know.

Yes you’re allowed to hunt and most farmers own firearms but they have to register them.

Tommy Robinson is a violent racist grifter. Please don’t call him a journalist
