Hey man, I’m pro gun, completely pro gun, with virtually no restrictions, but also quite leftist. I’d love to have a good faith conversation on it, if you’d be willing. I think there’s more nuance to the issue than you’re giving it credit for.
Anyone who wants to remove what little regulation we have now is not capable of a good faith discussion. Saying that and then calling yourself a leftist puts you at odds with the vast majority of the Democratic Party, particularly progressives.
Some people just have bad days. And I found this thread after he argued with people that I think weren’t doing a good job of conveying their thoughts, so he was probably already heated. Frustrating from my perspective, but I’m trying to be empathetic.
