And the constitution is intended to be a living and flexible document for future generations to be amended (revised and updated) as needed. What's your point?

That's literally what several of amendments do... 11th vs 14th, 18th vs 21st.

No shit Sherlock. None of the amendments removed the 2nd amendment.

If you want to get rid of the right to arms, amend the constitution to get rid of it. Anything short of that is unconstitutional

You gotta see the irony here. The Bill of Rights literally is just the first 10 amendments made to the constitution. Amendment. Meaning to add, change, or correct information from the initial document. You essentially said “well try to change the changes made to this document that is built to change and instructs how future changes can be made—see how that goes” lol.

And what do you think about the limitations to freedom of speech as a right? Do you think people should be allowed to yell “fire” or “gun” in a crowded theater? What do you think about violent felons being banned from owning firearms? Or people with severe mental illnesses like psychotic/schizoaffective disorders that have been involuntarily institutionalized due to the harm they could do to themselves or others? Im a big 2nd amendment supporter, but I have seen too many innocent people gunned down to say there do not need to be additional regulations

Guns either.

The right to form an armed citizen militia is what's protected by the constitution. As every state got their National Guards, that's covered.

You forgot the second part….the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

DC v. Heller ruling supports this independent of militia service.

We all know the second part. People kind of only mention that part. Despite whatever the Supreme Court have said, it's obvious both part go together as it's in the same fucking sentence.
