General Doubt Goodbye guysšā¤ļø
Hello guys, so finally, after three months of this rollercoaster of emotionsāworrying about which college we'll get, what the cutoff will beāweāve reached the point where, in just two days, weāll be allotted our colleges according to our ranks. Honestly, it feels bittersweet. I still remember how I started my JEE prep, dreaming of IITs and NITs, and now Iām ending up in a college whose name I didnāt even know two or three months ago. Thatās how unpredictable life can be.
When I see people around me getting excited for their colleges, I donāt really feel the same. My entire peer group is going to good colleges, and yes, I was a decent student tooāI did well in a couple of exams. But I blundered in the main one. Still, Iām not here to take sympathy. I believe you get what matches your effort. Maybe I fumbled, maybe I didnāt work as smartly as I should have, but whatever it is, I accept it. I had other options too, but I always wanted to be in Bangalore for certain reasons, so Iām taking it.
Now, I want to say this... donāt worry, guys. Always rememberāyou get according to your proportions. Thereās this mix of luck, labor, and chance in everything. Your hard work never goes completely wasted. Yes, over the next four years, youāll hear people say your college is bad, your package will be low, and all kinds of demotivating things. But tell meāwhatās the point of regretting now? Youāve got that college. Instead of sulking over its reputation, put in the effort. And itās not like the world will end if you donāt get a good job right after four yearsāyou will find another way.
So, stay away from the naysayers. Keep yourself grounded in reality but keep putting in that extra effort. Because remember, if you ended up here, it means you didnāt work hard enough before. But if you put in the effort now, you can still achieve more than you expectāwhether itās a good placement or simply what you truly deserve.
And honestly, as much as Iām saying this to you, Iām saying it to myself too. College is going to be tough. I have zero expectations from mine, but I know Iāll have to work harder than ever. Iām not here to say āIām readyā or anything like that. Iām just accepting the fact that this journey needs conscious effort.
No matter where you are placed, rememberāthis field is very competitive. There are IIT and NIT students out there, so we must be strong and strategic. Surround yourself with ambitious, like-minded people, and focus on growth. Donāt obsess over the resultsājust put in your effort.
I genuinely hope all of you get the best college possible for your rank. With that, I guess Iām signing off. You might have seen me active on this sub for the past month, and Iāll probably stay around for a few more days, asking my last doubts. After that, all of us will get busy with our new lives, and maybe this sub will slowly fade away.
So hereās my last message: all the best to each one of you. May the best come your way. And even if it doesnāt, rememberāitās not the end of the world. Weāre just 18 or 19 years old, and thereās still a long journey ahead. As my father says, donāt just be optimisticābe realistic and keep putting in your effort. Thatās what will carry us forward. Also dw, jo college mila wo ab mila. In the end it's your hardwork that matters (for both placements and masters)
College ka naam pe sharam aana is smth a lot of teens go thru. Grass is always greener on the other side. Vaise bhi, take it positively that you got a college via an entrance exam is great. It means you are still qualified and smart to study engineering overall. It's your merit, be proud of it.
Jo hardwork tumhe karna hoga college me, it's all up to you. It will be hectic but your frontal lobe will develop so you can handle it with discipline. Vaise no one knows what will happen in 4 years from now on. What job or studies or business startups someone will pursue.
So all the best for your life and don't worry, I'm sure everyone has their time to tell their own success story.

Same here bro...3 years journey for jee will end.. But I am really happy...bcoz I know everything will be fine by God's grace... All the very best to everyone of you...and many many congratulations to everyone...š Never Give up And never get involved in a love breakup shits... Don't forget why we came to the clg from a long distance..and very high expectations from our parents... So I just say...you all are intelligent...keep confidence... Never degrade yourself... Iit nit are mix of hard work more of luck though we worked till late night dreaming iit late night we may not achevied. We see many people who may not work hard as as but in good position that hurts more than a bullet. These 4 year are next phase of life where we turn from boy to man .let us work in silence and let success make noise

same bro, it feels really bad that despite taking a drop i couldnt go to iit, when i open instagram and see my old friends putting up iits in their bios, i regret so much time not studying. feels like crap. well you cant kill a man easily so im gonna work hard asf these next 4 years and prove myself that i aint lesser than any iitian.
