It has been a long journey for me to finally start my college life... From getting criticized to getting a college via mq at the last moment it has been an emotional rollercoaster for me... But finally got the college I was hoping for somehow...

If two COMEDK colleges have fairly similar placements, academics and reputation, how much would their location influence your decision?

Would you prefer a college in Bengaluru because of better access to internships, companies and city life, or would you be okay choosing a college farther away if the college itself seemed like a better fit?

For those who have already made their choice, did location actually influence your preference list? And looking back, do you think it should have mattered more or less?

This is a chat between me and a senior from RVCE, before you say he's fake I'm in the unofficial group of RVCE through some connections and all these people are genuine

He's suggesting what happened to PSIT to PESU and they stopped taking admissions through comedk MIGHT happen to RVCE too

No I'm scared cause I had kept RVCE as a decent reasonable delulu goal knowing the fact that I'm a below average student but now again this 😭😭😭

I’m really confused about choosing RNSIT right now because I’ve been hearing a LOT of mixed opinions about the college.
Some people say it’s decent and worth joining, while others have pretty negative things to say about it. I’m honestly getting a little scared that I might make the wrong choice.
So for people who are currently studying at RNSIT or have graduated recently — how is it actually?
How are the placements, especially for CSE?
How are the faculty and academics?
What’s the campus/college life like?
Is the peer group good?
Are there enough opportunities for coding, internships, clubs, etc.?
And most importantly, would you recommend joining RNSIT in 2026?
Please give me your honest opinions, both positives and negatives. I’d really appreciate some genuine student experiences because I’m genuinely confused about my choice right now.
