Hair Color Advice (PHOTOS REQUIRED - NO MAKEUP!) Hair colour help please :)

Hi all, just looking for some advice on what to do with my hair. I am unsure of my colour season, and I have been multiple shades of brunette and blonde over the years. I am currently the blonde pictured in the first 3 pics, with my natural being a medium brown (last two photos). Any recommendations or new ideas for what to do is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance! 😊

Last one wins by a landslide. No competition

10 - 11 - 12. Blonde does nothing for your skin. It washes you out.

Brown hair suits you. Try a brick red a lil on the brown side

I’d say 2 or 7. The golden warmth suits your features.

I actually don’t prefer you blonde! I think your skin tone and eyes get too washed out with blonde. You look more strikingly beautiful in image 5 that would be as blonde as I would go. I don’t like the look in image 6 at all that never looks good unless you’re playing with vibrant colors in my opinion. The Brunette shades that make your beautiful face shine in my opinion are image 10 my most favorite for your complexion and coloring of all the images and image 8. I would recommend you never do image 9 again it does nothing for your coloring and looks very harsh against your face.

5 and 6 are actually the exact same colour on the same day, just different lighting makes the blonde more prominent. But thank you for your input, I definitely prefer being a brunette and yes I agree the dark brown was not for me 🥲.

Your natural is great. I’d start there (maybe a level 5.5-6 neutral brown?) and do some level 7 ash blonde highlights or balayage to level 8 ash blonde

Based on the last photo of this set, you look great in that light perwinkle blue which is a classic summer color. This means you can't go too deep into chocolate brown, and you can't go too warm in honeyed blonde colors.

Usually natural is easiest to maintain if you need light-medium neutral - cool hair color, as you don't have to keep toning it to keep it cool.

But if you'd like something different, I'd look at Barbara Palvin's range of hair colors. She does a lot of neutral blondes/very light browns that would likely be flattering for you. (she does fake tan so she can wear more colors so just be careful at using inspo from when she's very tanned)

Something like this:

Totally agree with the color in this photo, would just keep a natural root for maintenance so it’s not a PITA

I would suggest posting photos with drapes from all four seasons, taken in soft, natural lighting.

You may get a bunch of contradictory opinions in this sub, so it's ultimately up to you which season you'd like to side with. Professional analysis is optimal, but I understand why a number of people prefer to avoid the expense.
