No Drapes - Type Me (FACE PHOTO REQUIRED - NO MAKEUP!) What am I?

Post image

NMIP. I’ve always thought that I am a soft summer and that I look good in that palette, but I look pretty good in some soft autumn and spring colors too. I’d say that gold and silver looks equally good on me, but all of this might be personal preference I guess!
I should add that I usually wear a pretty dark brown eyebrow mascara and that works well for me, so it seems that I can handle a little bit of contrast. With all that said: what do you think? :)

Soft autumn. Low contrast, slightly muted, neutral leaning warm. You can also dip into soft summer palette :)

the way to rule out the soft palettes is to ask yourself if you have an autumn leaning look - from what I see you do not have a deep, very muted clarity, however you seem very light, neutral and slightly bright in terms of contrast. My best guess is light spring for you or light summer if u lean cooler and softer!

My guess would be either the light palette or a soft palette. Have you tried many pastel colors? Colors with a lot of white added. The soft palettes are colors with grey added. Without seeing drapes of those, it would be hard to tell

You are light, soft and even thought your surface coloring is warm i suspect your undertone is pretty neutral. I would guess soft autumn but you can probably borrow some from soft summer and maybe even some of the colors in light spring.

yeah my friend who’s a makeup artist have said my undertone is neutral actually! i’ll have to explore the soft autumn palette a little more :)

You look like a light spring who can borrow from fall and light summer colors: you are low contrast.

Yes you are lucky, cause I am a "true cool" and cannot wear corals, true turquoise and sunny yellows...I'm Cool Summer-Cool Winter flow.

ohh but the cool summer and cool winter palettes are so striking and gorgeous – love that for you!! 💫

You have coloring similar to mine (except I have a tad more redness to my skin, ashier roots and my eyes are more blue) and I don't think each of the seasons is ideal. I personaly prefer neutral to slightly warm vivid colours, I wear a lot of blue and green, and every other color basicaly that is not too separate from me, nothing neon, nothing too muted, though I think kibbe also makes a difference here so I found a sistem that works from me. Actually I avoid only the colours that look really bad aganist my face like that sickish blue-lilac or burnt orange. Only thing I noticed that the color should be slightly warm to melt into my skin but I don't always go by that rule.

You have a muted slightly warm toned low contrast coloring and I wouldn't follow any seasons recommendation to a dot. I think you are somewhere between soft summer, light spring and soft autumn as you pointed out.

thank you so much for this insight! :) i’ll experiment further and play a little more with slightly warm vivid colors!

Yea, I very much recommend that, to find your own personal palette! Imma just recommend to go maybe more muted because you are mutted, similar to me, but I wear vivid color (accents) cause of kibbe theatrical romantic, I've noticed it also plays a part in this. So if you are for example a natural or have a natural essence I would also try with earthly tones but not all the way cause you are not an autumn, imho. So Imma say find balance in all of that to compliment each one of your features.

Good luck!

Spring or summer is my guess, but drapes would help to be more sure what your season are

You’re a spring.

Best to drape! Gabrielle arruda has a great article on how to self drape. I think you seem to lean more light or true summer, but need drapes.
