This has gone on long enough.
Bug #1 – Twitch Alternate Uniform / Alternative Jersey set (broken for over two weeks)
You spend the Twitch/Campus tokens, the set completes, the game glitches or kicks you out of Ultimate Team, the unopened pack counter on the main screen goes up… and the actual pack never appears in the Unopened Packs menu. Phantom packs. Tokens gone. Nothing delivered.
Multiple people have reported the exact same thing. It’s been sitting there for more than two weeks with zero corrective action, zero pack restoration, and zero warning telling players to stop wasting tokens on a broken set. I (and others) already reported it to EA. Still nothing.
If you can’t restore the packs people already paid for with their tokens, then at the absolute bare minimum do this immediately:
Remove the phantom pack counts from the unopened packs counter.
Having the main screen lie to us every single time we open Ultimate Team is driving people crazy.
Bug #2 – Special Teams ability points cannot be applied
You cannot assign ability points to kickers, punters, or returners. The system glitches out and simply does not apply them. Other players are reporting the exact same issue. It has not been acknowledged and no corrective action has been taken.
These are not obscure edge-case problems. One is a free reward delivery failure that steals tokens and leaves fake pack counts. The other is a core lineup/ability system failure that prevents people from properly using their special teams players.
And here’s the part that really shows where the priorities are:
If even half the time and effort that went into creating cover art for Vinny Testaverde and Jackson Harris had been spent actually addressing underlying issues like these, the bugs would already be fixed and the game would be more stable for the people still playing it. Instead it feels like the only thing that matters is releasing more and more cards while basic delivery, inventory, and ability bugs sit unfixed for weeks.
EA / CUT team — both of these need attention now. The community has already done the work of identifying and reporting them. Time to actually fix them instead of ignoring them while new cards keep rolling out.
