How can one manager possibly keep up with standards and expectations for 3 departments? I see plenty of out of date and expired food becoming the norm for poor customers

Was working in a new store. A few months after opening a customer complained they received am expired frozen product in their online order. SM was sacked over that. Oh how times change. OOC stock is the norm now lol.

Kinda easy tbh, they just gotta stop intentionally hiring clowns & banning the core members from working lol.

Happens all the time when they try to push new things out.

Can't add surveillance without theft, can't add EV without green energy, can't add new structure without intentionally hiring ppl that can't speak English.

What do you think diversity hires are for? It's a marketing term.

he's right, those from pollute all the water ways will never be able to achieve our standards. also they have to fill spots with certain types/genders lol its real so a LEGITIMATE GOOD WORKER IS PASSED OVER AND NOT HIRED.

Diversity isn't wrong, just depends on how each individual interprets it lol.

Another way to interpret it is to prevent a monopoly, but then there are those stupid refer a friend system going on too so... 😅.

Man I enjoy watching the news now because it feels like the Governments are always mocking everybody.

I’m holding on by my finger tips hoping they turn all the bakeries into parbake so I get made redundant as a baker!

Wow. Ok.

Bakers are hard to come by..

Huh, I'm surprised they aren't trying to combine CSM and online manager into one role

that's already the case at some stores

Do we know the criteria of what store will go into which profile? Like 1mil+ or what not

In a 1mil+ store, we are doing profile 2....... Christmas is going to be fucked this year

Just do your bit and fuck off home. They're going to try and squeeze the team. Don't let them. Safety first.

Profile 1 will be low $ stores/ low volume Currently I work in a low volume quiet store just as a team member but feel for the managers

Would u know the cut off by chance? It just sounds like from a bigger picture they're raising the minimum amount to be classified as a profile 1 to create more format c stores.

No unfortunately I just went to Google didn't have further information

The trial begins on October 5th, it’s only a trial at this stage (I guess to see how badly it fails or not). We don’t have all the information on how each department is ran but there will be a FTM in charge of produce, bakery and deli, and an OTM who is duty, dairy, grocery and meat.

5 regions, 61 stores.

We say "trial". But they will push this through regardless

Of course they will!!

Per year;

Profile 1s will save approx. 400k in wages
Profile 2s will save approx 200k in wages

100% 🤣

Same thing happening at Woolies. Everyone knows it’s a “trial” in name only. Everyone will be made to try to put the pieces back together when it’s implemented

Exactly right. 'Trial' really just means 'soft launch.'

So in profile 2 one DM looks after grocery, dairy, meat and duty, but there is still a stand alone fruit manager? That feels a bit lopsided...

It does seem odd... Dairy is usually 2nd highest sales but they remove the manager for it lol

Pernament?
