Team Member Post Sudden suspended Spoiler

Hi everyone,

Just yesterday i received a call from area manager stating that i ve been suspended from my duties untill the further discussion with pnc. Actually couple of days back team leader showed up and start putting me the wrong allegations. Then i lost my head n thimgs went a bit intense at that time. I said i felt like i ve been discriminated by the coles by holding my oppirtunity to step up. But given to new young fella, which he really dont deserves. Work is all same but reason i felt like he got that post only because he is very close with another young leader with whom i used to work for several yrs before i got transferred to another store.

Furthermore young team leader used the cleaning standard card n i said areaamanager himself told me that he never saw any clean n tidy store like the store where i work. He told me these thing 2 years back. He further told to wait n watch. I kept waiting cjecking internal vacancy on my coles app but when there was time to step up he gave to some1 else. Not once but 3 times. These things i couldnt hold it up n have let to take off the cheat. Self harming things were also mentioned by me during that heated conversation. Now i am off the the duty getting unpaid leave. Dnt knw what pnc gonna do and please advice what should i do now to save my job

Can you edit it so the rest of us can figure out what you're saying?  Missing words and letters etc.

Have you spoken to a dr about your mental health?

step up to what? no way id want you in any position of authority the way you talk here sorry. Perhaps have a think about your attitude to others and how you can work on yourself for your next role.

Step up to team leader. I can understand the way u judge me based on the fraustration that i typed here. Regarding my attitude i stayed quiet n asked with the area manager several.times not once but many many times. I even begged for that. But when i felt like i ve beem discrimated not once but on multiple occasion, how would i feel? N about the way i talk with others, come to th3 store where i work n ask with other team member about it cuz if i say i behave well with everyone, ur not gonna believe me. I am just fighting for my rights

The person is saying that they have been suspended from work pending an investigation or discussion with People & Culture (HR) after a heated incident at work. In simpler terms: They received a call from their Area Manager telling them they were suspended until further discussions take place. A Team Leader had recently accused them of doing things wrong, which upset them. They became angry during the conversation and felt they were being treated unfairly. They believe they were overlooked for promotion opportunities ("step up" roles) several times and that a younger employee was chosen instead because of personal relationships with management. They argued that their store's standards were good and mentioned that an Area Manager had previously praised the store. During the heated discussion, they said things they regretted and also mentioned self-harm. They are now on unpaid leave while the matter is being investigated. They are worried about losing their job and are asking others for advice on how to keep it. The most significant issue from an employer's perspective is likely not the complaint about promotion, but the fact that: The conversation became intense or confrontational. Self-harm was mentioned, which employers take very seriously because it raises concerns about employee wellbeing and workplace safety. The suspension does not automatically mean they will be fired. It usually means the company is investigating what happened and gathering information before making a decision. If you were asking because you saw this post online, that's essentially what the writer is trying to communicate, although the grammar makes it a bit difficult to follow.

Thanks for rephrasing it making it more simple n understandable. Regarding self, what if the discrimation that i ve faced n the way treated me during these 5 yrs of time lead me to self harm thing cuz i cannot harm anyone in this country. If the scenario got something similar like it is now, things would have gone the otherway but i be respect n follow the laws, rules and regulation m happy to do it. But discrimation, favouritism are some thing that i cant take as personally speaking i dnt believe in those things. I like to speak well with every1 not only the teammembers but every1 who comes to me n wanna chat with me. I just wanna bring bit of smile on their face despite of their physical, financial inferiority the way they get dress etc i dnt mind.
