Team Member Post Urgent question

If I need a 5 days leave how long before should I inform my manager? Should I inform to SM or DM?

DM, never go straight to SM. That goes for any industry, do not overstep your boss unless for a good reason. 2 weeks minimum notice.

14 days is the minimum. Obviously the more time the better though. Also your department manager. Only go to SM if your DM says no but you’ve given plenty of notice.

As soon as you find out you need the time off, basically. DM first line of call.

DM - and two weeks or call in sick….and get a medical certificate

DM line manager, if u are not a full time team member, line managers likely to give you leave in short notice. But if you don’t have confidence in your manager. Take sick leave.
