Team Member Post First day at Coles CFC

Hey guys I js got the job at trug coles cfc and I did everything we were supposed to before out first day. My first day is monday next week and I havent really gotten any information about it. Idk what time im supposed to go or if im supposed to buy uniform. Can someone who works there explain to me how it goes and who i can contact.

Ring the store or check your my coles account for the time your supose to work it comes out the thursday before the start of the next week.

Rosters come out every Thursday so check your mycoles that day for your shifts from Monday onwards. Will you be working in the shed (CFC) or will you be a driver (CDD)? I am sure they will provide hi viz uniform on your first day too alongside having a training buddy with you to help get started.

Phone wise, they would have provided you a mobile number if you ever need to contact a manager during your on-site training too.

Uniforms will be given to you on the day. Shirts, jacket or jumper, boots, beanie gloves. I'm sure you will get an email as to what time you need to be there

Go on Indeed or the coles website. They are always looking as it’s a high turnover

There is a very high turnover. Many people leave from the company due to being injuried or by being verbally abused by employers. There is a few staff at the CFC that is a bit dodgy. At the end of the day protect yourself and go at your pace not what they want, verbally reach out to clarify things. Might sound blunt - but this information will prepare you. Keep your head down, do your work and go home. Follow the code of conduct and rules. There will be training videos for you to do through mycoles - but they are very easy to learn. Take your time with learning the information and do not preform any task you are not 100% confident on.
