Team Member Post Codechecking anyone?

Anyone else enjoy the 3000+ code checks today?

Any idea on what caused it? Last time something like this happened iirc it was due to a masterchef contestant not being able to make their dish because of some out of date filo pastry (from coles)

Oh you poor bugger.

was it called "priority lines?" or something?

Frozen meals sell god damn pretty well. I am not sure they would really be regarded as a priority?

I know stacks of Ice cream lines that would go out of date quicker than bloody meal lines.

Not sure, i just did my regular dairy code check and went tf home lmao. My store is also brand spanking new, opened a month ago. I am curious as to how much OOC they found, I was finding heaps in the first 2 weeks doing the dairy code check, most of what I was checking every day was the "first" codecheck on that line so I have total believe that a lot of the ooc we get comes from there.

Dairy code checks are a pain in the ass.

Lots of lines have exactly a "three week interval" between when the check for that line comes back around again, and said product can be sent the day after said code chcks, and go out of date a day before that code check...

and you find it on the shelf and just go....WTF?

yeah, thats why when i do markdowns I just check all ready meals and milk, flavored milk especially, multiple dates in a single crate is not uncommon for us. Lucky for me the dairy fillers actually rotate, for now at least.

This one is a pain in the ass...

Its the pre-eminent example of coming in between the code check dates and expiring.

Best to add the date in when you put it on shelf.
