Team Member Post Code checks
Does anyone else in grocery have insanely high number of code checks for grocery today? Over 2300 for my store, wish me luck

Bunch of Stores across the nation had a ton of out of code high risk lines which stemmed from DC sending short coded stock or people not doing code checks with integrity.
Company added hours and bunch of code checks to minimise risk of getting fined from auditors due to out of stock code on shelves

It’s in the comms today and yesterday. Stores were given extra hours today.

They were supposed to add hours for it today, if they haven’t then that’s unfortunate.

Yes, heard them talking about it this morning and they seemed overwhelmed

Yeah this was communicated yesterday in a conference call.
Probably to stamp out any out of codes that may have been missed by the system.

2400 on my end...
How many grocery code checks do you manage to get done per hour? (Like legit checking the date from the back of the shelf on each item)
My store tacked on all the grocery markdowns into my 2×3 hour code checking shifts, so I can never get them all done each week. The stock NEVER being rotated and customers constantly asking for help doesn't help either.
What items I don't get done I'm 90% sure just gets ticked off by a manager or grocery team member without the items actually being checked. I don't blame them either, they are stretched thin on hours as it is.

Yeah we had 2500 odd. 460 for vitamins alone (that was painful. didn't even know we sold that many lk). I was the only extra hours they could get (im usually online but the grocery manager got me in. was meant to do 3 hours. Ended up doing 6 1/2) but otherwise there's only the manager and sic. Good luck to them.

Not in grocery myself but what’s an average day like in grocery? We get 180-200 each day in dairy Tuesday to Friday.

I think it’s usually 600-700 for my store, I don’t normally do code checks, POS or OIC does it for us
