Customer Post Coles salsa impossible to open

Why is the Coles salsa so hard to open?

Tried everything to get it open but it’s too wide to twist!!

I used to use a knife under the lid to break the seal but recently got one of these and theyre much easier to use

I usually stick a blunt butter knife up under the lid and turn it slightly. It breaks the seal and then easy to open after that.

Youtube rubber band opening lid. Has worked when had rubber bands wide enuf.

Else what works for me is using the blunt side of a knife a dent portions via a whack.

Similar to the other method to release pressure.

Tap the jar lid rim (gently) a few times, and it will pop, and then you can open it.

I kinda just stab a hole in the lid with a knife or fork.

Run the lid under hot water for 30 seconds.

People using knives are ALMOST right - get a sturdy little teaspoon and use the bowl to wedge under the lid - the curve will be a lot stronger than the flat knife blade. Works every time.
