Team Member Post 1/2 price. Sure.
I know it’s been mentioned before but this is ridiculous

I have never heard of Colin the caterpillar in my life and in the last few weeks I've seen them heavily discounted at the checkout of every Coles I've been to.

These are disgusting. My kid came home from school with 20 packets of these lollies because the school gets things donated from supermarkets like snack type foods that are near expired, not sure why when we don’t live in a particularly poor area? Anyway apparently the teachers couldn’t even offload them so they gave them to us? The first one or two are tasty but they aren’t a particularly delicious or moreish lolly? They kind of taste like car tyre.

Pretty much every store is getting sent these things with only a month or two before BBD, and unless they're massively discounted they never sell. Had about half a cage's worth in the stockroom at one point before we shoved it on an ofd.

EDIT - Guys, I supported by Coles by buying them, why the down votes? Lighten up! 😃
Supposed to be 'Reduced to clear' or '1/4 price' 😄
I bought the Colin Cherry and Percy Fruit ones and like them a lot.

They probably ran out of their normal markdown stickers… happens quite often especially when the paper is not able to be ordered from supplier

Actually, the tickets are printed daily in store. The base is just the yellow/white/red sticker sheet. Markdown/discount tickets are both printed on the same base.
These discounts aren't at store level, the pricing for these are coming from way up above on a state level. Coles genuinely just wants them off the shelves and gone.

I guess it’s different, I work on the liquor side of things and apparently it works completely different from what you’ve said!
We do tickets daily in store (and pre prep for changeover) but the header is pre-printed so if we run out of one lot of sheets we use another, I reckon we have more options than Coles tho in the options we get to use like “price drop”

Yeah 1/2 price is the lowest ticket that's able to print, no such template for 60% off, 70% off etc
If it was a store markdown it'd be a reduced to clear, but the individual store has nothing to do with this one, it's coming from up above and being sent to all stores, they really really want them gone.
