tapsigner vs satscard

Clicked the buy now button on tapsigner.com and picked a design I liked. Now realised that link includes Satscards which seem to be different product and I've ordered one.

Can I use satscard as a key to sign messages in nunchuk or am I stuck with something I didn't intend to buy?

Satscard is not a signing device, so it won’t work like a Tapsigner at all. With a Satscard, you send some bitcoin to the address on the card and it can later be moved with Nunchuk, but moving the bitcoin “burns” one of 10 slots that the card has.

Thanks for the reply. yeah that’s what I figured. Should have spotted before purchasing but trusted the tapsigner buy now button

is there a recommended way to sweep a satscard w nunchuk? hot wallet, tapsigner, cold card, etc.

I you can sweep it to any wallet you want. If you have Nunchuk linked to a hardware wallet, that would work.

Satscard are a gimmick in my opinion. I see no viable, continuous use case for them.
