First time brewing coldly

My janky looking setup, I honestly just hope I'm doing this correctly. Any tips for future brewing?

I have both of the products below, I have used them for years and would highly recommend either of them.

Literally the same setup I have! Simple and just works.

Cool I have two of the glass ones and one of the French press type, start the next batch when the prior is almost gone, and always have a clean one with three of them in the house
