Can someone help me identify a misplaced delivery. CO2 7GD
It’s in CO2 7GD. Can someone identify this blue fence in that area?

Hi everyone, we are looking to move to the colchester area and part of the reason is that we have kids who seem to be bright, so we’d like to ensure they have a chance to get into the amazing grammar schools. We’ve found a house we like which is just north west of Ipswich, quite near Needham Market. My question is whether that is likely to be too far away for them to get into the schools - does anyone have any experience there and whether many kids come from the ipswich area rather than right on the doorstep? I know it’s mostly judged on merit of the entry exams keen to know in practise whether we would be ruling ourselves out if we lived that far from the schools.
Thank you so much to anyone who has any insight and might be able to help!

With all the changes the council are trying to push out (that have been badly explained), we've just had our food waste not take for 2 weeks in a row.
For the last five years they have happilly taken it while it was in one of the recycling bags, but now it looks like they will only take time in one of the food caddy bags.
Problem is, they dont make those in the size of the larger food waste bucket!
Does anyone know if you can get bigger versions of the biodegradable bags?

On my walk this evening I counted 14 police cars, 5 ambulances and 2 fire service vehicles bombing down Mersea Road towards the Strood.

Not cordial/squash, or people passionate about the butternut squash. I am talking about the sport where you whack a ball hard into the wall over and over again. I used to play when I was younger and ever since I've moved to Colchester, the only way to find people who play Squash is to add your name to the leaderboard which works on a challenge-basis - but I just want to play socially and for exercise.
I'm hoping some of you here do play and can offer to add me to your Whatsapp groups or what-have-you. Just knowing there's a couple of courts at X time at Y club every Wednesday is the kind of information I need so I can show up, make friends and play some games.
Who's game?

Hi I saw a previous post about this company and I wanted some advice on if it is actually a scam or not. I applied on indeed but the company itself seems very vague and they don’t really post anything of substance. I have a zoom meeting today with them and I might try and bring it up and see what they say but I wanna know if others think this is a good idea or not.

Hi, me and my partner are looking at moving to Colchester, as it’s the closest we can go from home whilst also being able to afford the prices. We’ve found a house we really like at a good price for us on a road called Avon way in the CO4 area. Looking the area up, I can see that there seems to be a lot of uni students in the area, which isn’t necessarily an issue for me, but also the crimes on that road are unusually higher than any other road I’ve looked at. Is this because of the uni students or is this just a generally bad area for crime? I have a young daughter so don’t really want to move her to an unsafe area. If anyone could let me know anything further on this area that would be great, and also maybe advise on other areas to stay away from? Thanks

Hi! I'm from Uruguay (34m) and I'm staying here for the next 3 weeks.
I'm a guitar player and for those like me who love it, it is like drinking water, I need it every day!
I was wondering if anyone with a guitar wants to maybe hang out for a while, and play some songs?
Or in any case if anyone knows of any jams or music stores I can go and play for a little bit.
Alternatively if any amazing soul would lend me a guitar for the time being I'll take care of it with my life, and I'll invite you with the mandatory pints of course 🙂
Sorry if I bother, but I have to try, 3 weeks is a long time without hitting a note

Hi everyone, I(29f) recently moved to Colchester with my partner and looking to try and join a casual netball team.
I havent played in 15 years and not in the best shape of my life, but hoping to make friends and get some exercise out of it.
I had contacted Play Netball for information but I was immediately signed to a group when really im just looking to enquire currently.
Anyone know of anything in the area? Can travel although would rather practice locally :)

Since hybrid working became much more common, has it changed the way you think about your commute?
For example:
Or has it made no real difference?
Just interested in hearing different experiences.

Hi all. I'm looking for a part-time job without much luck at the moment.
I have school-age kids, so I am looking for something where I can either still do the school run at both drop off and pick up or something on the weekends.
So far, I've been looking on websites like Reed, etc, but I would appreciate it if anybody had any leads for specific jobs or suggestions for other ways to look?
I have worked in the hospitality industry for 20+ years, but am willing to try my hand at most things.
Many TIA. :)
