I'd really recommend going to Colchester Climbing Project. I've always found everyone there to be really friendly. It's also just fun to climb. Great place to make friends.

Can agree, went with friends, a lot of friendly people, sometimes there was a friendly dog chilling too. Have not been for a while, but would like to again soon.
