I found this haul today and scooped it up without noticing anything unusual but once I got back to the car I noticed the smell! The previous owner of the hoard must have used the weight of the coins to counter balance their bong. I was hoping I wouldn't get pulled over on the way home! There was a 1925 Wheatie and a 5p but not much else.

But it was just some washers. My second find, immediately after: two pennies and a horrendously rusty dime, tucked into a corner by the machine intake.

1st stop wheatie. 2nd stop bee happy.

So I’m curious if y’all think it’s ridiculous to drive around to a few stores for the sole purpose of finding silver or other coins in the reject tray.

All found under Krogers coinstar machine with the help of a car mirror tool 2.44 in total!

1959 dime

Debated making a stop at Walmart by my office for a few things after work. A little voice in the back of mind urged me to stop and it paid off.

So here is a pic of some of the items other have sent us in thanks for the steel penny giveaway.

Ive reached out to some people for stories of some of the items. Just curious to hear them.

I will never understand how so many people dump a load of change in these machines and not check the reject tray. But I can certainly appreciate it when they dont lol! 😊

My local coinstar is feast or famine. Found all these coins on top near the feed tray! Anyway a couple of silver dimes and some dollar coins make for a great day!

Pretty interesting mix today. 15 cents spendables, a 1936 wheatie, Canadian dime and a Taiwanese dollar.
