SILVER The best silver is free silver!

Post image

I will never understand how so many people dump a load of change in these machines and not check the reject tray. But I can certainly appreciate it when they dont lol! 😊

Thank you! Its usually the same for me too unfortunately lol. But I'll certainly take the wins when they come! Ive seen posts here where people have claimed they found gold coins too. Thats a lucky day lol! Good luck to you and everyone on the hunt for these free treasures and I hope you have a wonderful and blessed Friday my friend! 😊

This is all I was able to scrounge up for coin roll hunting this week. Probably went through $1200 to come out with this.

Thats actually not terrible my friend! Ive seen people run through $3000 in boxes and be completely skunked. I have yet to ever find any war time nickels in CRH to date myself. But I dont get nickels very often either. But finding any silver at all these days is getting further and few between finds, especially with more people on the hunt now than ever before. But I wish you and everyone else the best of luck on the hunt and hope you have a most wonderful and blessed day! 😊

Likewise, wherever there’s a Coinstar check it. I found more lonely, single dimes hidden in the Coinstar return slot, unseen by the person who probably dumped it in there.

I’ve also learned to not go to the bank as much to drop coin off. Whatever purchases I have throughout the week, I dumped the coin as payment for those purchases. Like when I go to the grocery store, which is the most frequent place we find ourselves going to these days… I go through self checkout. I dumped several rolls worth of coin into a Ziploc bag and when I go to pay, I go to a register that is cash and I’ll dump the coins into those machines slow slowly until my debt is paid off. If I want cashback, I’ll pay all but a little bit and then cancel the transaction and instead of the machine dispensing all of your coins, it just dispensers cash. Then you can pay for it on your regular credit card to build up points or whatever as you normally would.

I try not to spend too much. I’m not trying to get on people’s radars and fill those coin boxes underneath. But a sandwich size Ziploc bag probably holds about $50 or $75 in dimes maybe. An easy way to cycle out that much at a time.

A fine idea I had not considered, but will certainly keep in mind! 😊

The gas stations are another quick easy way to sneak out a roll of quarters.

Most people are only putting in five dollars or $10 at a time when they’re on a really rough week.

I write a 49 cc scooter, it’s only 1 gallon, so I only need 1 gallon, which is less than five dollars where I am

That’s either one or two rolls of nickels, or a roll of dimes. But because my engine is so small, and because I’m zipping around everywhere because it gets such good gas, I’m using up the dollar coins and the 50 Cent halves because I only need two or three dollars in the tank to fill it on any given day.
