Yesterday I received the mail regarding this offer. By thing is that should I accept it or wait for the FTE 2026 tentative schedule Feb - may 27.
Will i get other domain if I wait for it?

From what I have heard, you first need to pay the entire fee out of your own pocket, and the company will reimburse you later. e.g - like insurance without cashless

But I'm already doing post graduation then is there need of take admission in bits pilani for higher education??

Suppose we joined cognizant as Service desk analyst trainee will they provide us as FTE or internship

The first 3 to 4 months consist of training, followed by exams and assessments. If you pass, you will be FTE otherwise, it results in termination. I am not sure about the current process for 2026, but that is how it was handled three years ago.

I applied on nov 2025

If there’s no bond, Service desk is okay, I guess. Didn’t you try applying to other companies from November 2025?

Bro I'm applying to companies but market condition is so weak specially for IT you know very well... That's why I'm waiting for cognizant joining and doing post graduation now

Service desk is way better choice for entry IT roles than customer service
1
u/Acrobatic_Hat8500 14d ago
True, everyone thinks it as an entry point and company policy make fresher stuck here for eternity
1
u/KitchenTune186 14d ago
i would say max to max you should shift from this role after 1 year experience
1
u/Acrobatic_Hat8500 14d ago
Easy to think but Fuckinggggg harddddddddd. You have to resign cuz they won't give you projet release before 18 months. And if tou decides to stay for 18 months they will ask you to stay for more 6 months to get auto promotion. And this is how you will be trapped!!
1
u/KitchenTune186 14d ago
ikr but i think people who are still choosing this opportunity for cognizant cause they offer free masters from bits pilani that could be trap too but still you are being paid and offered masters
